Xiffy enjoying the Sakura
Xiffy, or Appie Verschoor, was born in Rotterdam. Raised in the west, middle and north of the Netherlands. Studied in Groningen, started working in Utrecht, lived a long time in Deventer and is now back in Rotterdam.
After his studies in (Dutch) Linguistics, he became a computer programmer. And today he still is a software engineer. Nowadays as a freelancer with some niche specialisations.
His current project in life is to move to France and enjoy the peaceful quiet of the thinly populated area of the Ardennes. There he would like to find the time to spend on his hobbies, which at the moment are mostly dreams of block prints yet to carve and roads yet to be cycled.
He hopes the summer of 2026 will be the start of a better balance between work and pleasure.
